THIS WAS MADE FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES

Eudora exists to leave meaningful impressions on every animal, person, and space it touches.

Eudora Wildlife Safari Park, South Carolina’s first drive-thru safari, opened on Mother’s Day 2020 under founder Mark Nisbet. Spanning over 300 acres with more than 300 animals, with many born on-site. The park offers drive-through and guided safaris, a walk-through area, and a petting zoo. Every element of the park is designed with intention to deepen connection, spark curiosity, and inspire responsibility. From footprints on dirt paths to moments of awe beside a giraffe, Eudora creates experiences that leave lasting marks on the land, the animals, and the hearts of its visitors.

PROBLEM

Eudora Wildlife Safari Park needed a visual identity that communicates its commitment to conservation while inspiring meaningful engagement. The challenge was to encourage the community, particularly young adults, to support the park and its environmental initiatives, both during visits and through long-term giving. There was an opportunity to highlight the importance of conservation through storytelling, create after-hours experiences that deepen connection, and design a brand that resonates with the next generation of park advocates.

SOLUTION

To engage younger generations in meaningful conservation, a bold visual identity was developed for Eudora Wildlife Safari Park that reflects its mission, values, and immersive experiences. Centered on the concept of “Meaningful Impressions,” the system uses typography, color, and a symbolic mark. The symbol consists of a giraffe hoof and a human shoe print creating a circle, to express shared responsibility and the lasting impact of each visitor. Combined with a natural color palette, iconography, and patterns inspired by the park’s landscape, the identity creates a cohesive, experiential system that educates, inspires, and fosters long-term environmental advocacy while capturing the wonder and joy of Eudora.

OUTCOMES + TAKEAWAYS
Through this project, I learned how to create a visual brand that captures the essence of a place and its people. Eudora is more than a park; it’s a community deeply committed to conservation and leaving a positive impact on both animals and visitors. One of the biggest challenges was conveying emotion and meaning through color, typography, and design. After multiple iterations and feedback sessions, I developed a system that effectively communicates the park’s mission, values, and the concept of Meaningful Impressions. This project reinforced the importance of intentional design and thoughtful storytelling in creating an immersive and memorable brand experience.
